This life-sized Puebloan painting sits under a large overhang about 30 feet up, on the shelter's ceiling, and is known as The Green Mask. "The painting probably represents a whole face and hair scalp decorated by bands of paint..."-- Sally J. Cole, Legacy On Stone.

Paint has eroded away leaving the two Basketmaker figures on the left without heads. Handprints are adult size.

Near the Green Mask on the ceiling is a large amount of Archaic Abstract Geometric glyphs, of which this is a small section.
