This Boulder, Colorado-based quartet, with the 2000 release of their self-titled debut CD, has joined the ranks of those artists before them who have attempted to hear the established forms with fresh ears and then give something a little different back to the audience. Drawing upon the different musical styles that each member cherishes, they mix Rock, Bluegrass, Funk, Country, Blues, and Jazz into an upbeat sound with a definitively downbeat emphasis.   "(There is) something raw and earthy about this little band.
