Nichole is almost 21 (thank god) and is in school at Rend Lake College on a full ride to pole vault for them. This is her first year in college, and at the indoor NJCAA track nationals she got 3rd and outdoor nationals she placed 5th. Her top vault is 11 feet 10 inches. We are very proud of both our kids. Photo: Me with Travis and Nichole, May 2010. Do you have a Facebook or Myspace account? nope Three off-the-wall things about you we don’t know: We have a cat, I love NCIS and I knit blankets. Hobbies and Interests: we have won Friday night couples golf league twice, we fish, and we work at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway on Saturday nights. I am a FTD Master designer and last year I knitted each one of my brothers and sisters a blanket for Christmas. We just took my mom and dad to the outdoor track nationals in Kansas. My dad's first time watching a grandchild at nationals and his first time eating Kansas City ribs (some good, some not). I really enjoy living in small town USA. We live just a mile from work, going in at 6 am is my choice and getting off early is great for golf. My husband goes in at 4 am to meet and unload the trucks so we have most days together. Making track meets easy to get to. Or a round of golf. Right now we are enjoying Travis being home for a while before he buys his own place. Now I hope we can expect the same from my daughter but she is working at school for the summer. LIFE IS GOOD. Favorite memories from your days at U High?

Kids and birth years. 2, one of each. Travis my oldest, is in the U.S.A.F. National Guard. He is a staff sergeant and just graduated from ISU and has been hired at GROWMARK home office.
